Fra Angelico’s Theology of Light

The Way of Beauty

I thought I would do a short series (I intend three at this stage) of articles focussing on paintings by the gothic artists, looking at two of my favourites Fra Angelico and Duccio. ~~~~~
Majesty worship His Majesty
Unto Jesus, be all glory,
Power and praise
Majesty, Kingdom authority
Flow from His throne,
Unto his own, His anthem raise.
So exalt, lift up on high
The Name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify,
Christ Jesus the King!
Majesty, worship His Majesty
Jesus who died, now glorified,
King of all Kings!
So exalt, lift up on high
The Name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify,
Christ Jesus the King!
~~~~~
Jesus who died, NOW GLORIFIED! King of All Kings! Amen!
